More fraud. This one is older.

Former Westar Energy executive David Wittig was resentenced Monday to 60 months in prison in a 2003 bank fraud case, nine months more than his original sentence in the matter.

… Wittig was convicted of bank fraud in July 2003 after a federal jury found that he and Weidner conspired to conceal a $1.5 million loan Wittig made to Weidner after Weidner increased Wittig’s line of credit at Capital City Bank by the same amount. Weidner used the money to invest in a residential real estate project in Scottsdale, Ariz.
