Zillow.com recently came out with a new mapping feature that is truly unique, fun and useful. The “Heat Map” color codes areas by home value at the city level or higher.

It gives a great visual of the geography of home prices. Investors can try to find those coveted areas surrounded by more expensive homes.

Now when Zillow does a heat map of changes in prices, Katie bar the door.

Nevertheless, you should NOT use Zillow’s “zestimates” to price your home for sale. Big mistake. I wrote about this in Arizona Home Sale News in the past. I’ll have to find that post and put it in this blog.
