I was shooting some new photos of the lake at the home I have listed in Las Palomas in McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale when I saw this striking bird.
I’ve never noticed one like it before and I certainly think I would remember it if I had because of it’s penguin coloring and bulging red eyes.
It’s always fun to watch the water birds when I’m at this waterfront Scottsdale home. There is the tall white egret (cattle egret?) and other stork-looking things that stand around fishing.
