Outdoor Lifestyle

Scottsdale Mountain is ideal for living the outdoor Arizona lifestyle with many homes having swimming pools, large patios and gorgeous views, and all homes having nearby golf, hiking, mountain biking, jogging, biking and horseback riding. The Lost Dog Trailhead and the Sunrise Trailhead into the McDowell Sonoran Preserve are close by. The McDowell Mountains are a treasure with everything from easy loop walks into the Sonoran desert from the Lost Dog Trailhead to challenging hikes along the Sunrise Trail. Nearby golf clubs are Ancala Country Club, Eagle Mountain Golf Club, Firerock Country Club, McDowell Mountain Golf Club, the Country Club at DC Ranch and Grayhawk Golf Club.

Guard-Gated Security

The gate into Scottsdale Mountain is manned which adds an additional level of security for residents.

In addition to the gated and guarded private entry, the Scottsdale Mountain has community tennis courts, a basketball court and spa.

To maintain the Sonoran Desert character of the community that the residents love (and which adds a lot of value to homes in Scottsdale Mountain), the HOA in Scottsdale Mountain is pretty tight. Exterior paint colors must be approved and even the plants in your front yard and plants visible to neighbors must be on the approved list of Sonoran Desert and other similar plants.
