The Junior League is a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Proceeds from the purchase of our cookbook, Pomegranates and Prickly Pears, goes to fund such charities and great projects as the Ryan House, The Children’s Museum of Phoenix, the Girl Scouts and the Wellness Community.
Pomegranates and Prickly Pears would make a very classy and thoughtful Welcome Home present to new buyers. The book is gorgeous and focuses on the Southwest and features some local celebrity chefs. It centers on entertaining and provides full menus for many celebrations and holidays. We’d provide the book at a discount and increase the discount based on how many books are purchased.
