You hire a real estate agent to sell your home. It’s not a short sale.

What are the odds your home will sell before the listing expires or the listing is canceled?

Right now the odds are 50% that your home will fail to sell during that listing. However, a 50% failure rate is, in fact, extremely low and probably the lowest since sometime in 2005. Watch the video to see how high the failure rate got in January 2008.

When selling your home, your real estate agent has to be able to honestly and accurately explain to you the current state of the real estate market, otherwise, you won’t be able to make good decisions and your home is more likely not to sell.
