The metro Phoenix median home price for existing single family homes was down only 0.6%. For the U.S. as a whole, the price was down 1.2%, according to the the National Association of Realtors.
Despite leading the country in price increases in 2005, Phoenix hasn’t seen a proportional decrease. In fact, in this study, the real estate market in Phoenix is actually stronger than the U.S. average.
