My friend Neal Haddad emailed me about this article on the Arizona real estate market that will be in the New York Times tomorrow.
This paragraph might generate some interest in new homes in Arizona.
But smart investors, he argued, were absorbing the surplus by buying up homes that builders were now unloading at bargain prices “” some for as little as $60 to $80 a square foot, which local experts say is barely enough to cover construction costs let alone land expenses.
Do any readers out there know of any new homes selling for $60 to $80 a square foot? Please email me or leave a comment. Thanks.
Anyway, you should read the article just to see what they’re reading Back East.
I’ll probably hear some of points in the article repeated to me by prospective out-of-state clients.
