The number of homes sold via the Phoenix MLS in June was higher than any month on record, higher than spring 2005, the peak of the real estate boom.

Back in the spring of 2005 with fewer home sales, the median home price in metro Phoenix was increasing $10,000 a month. In 2011 with greater home sales, the median home price has so far remained flat. But for how long?
