The boom is dead but there are still a few hot real estate areas in California.
Location counts again. That’s why the East Bay towns “” along with a few other places around the state, including neighborhoods in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Pasadena and Silicon Valley “” are still reasonably hot. There are more people who want to live in these areas than there are available houses.
Arizona still has a bit of it. A client of mine made an offer on a home in central Phoenix last week but she lost out. The seller accepted a better offer. So near, yet so far away. The home had been on the market for 74 days but the day my client makes an offer… Dang!
